John Surtees
This car was driven by John Surtees in his farewell appearance with the BRM team, in the Mexican Grand Prix. He qualified tenth and went out of the race after 23 laps with transmission trouble. That race saw BRM field all three P139 cars for the first time and only time, P139#1 being driven by George Eaton, P139#2 by Jackie Oliver and P139#3 presented by Former World Champion, John Surtees.
