Last weekend, we had the privilege of attending the Classic Motor Show with the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (FBHVC), where the new P15 V16 Chassis 1/04 was displayed pride of place in the NEC.
An enormous thank you to the FBHVC for honouring the V16 and giving us a spot on your Federation Village Green. The FBHVC aims to protect the highway access rights of Britain’s historic vehicle enthusiasts. Each year, the Federation accepts the show organiser’s challenge of displaying a unique collection of vehicles that will not be seen anywhere else within the NEC – among their fleet this year were a 1950 Leyland Tiger PS2/1 Single Deck Bus, a 1936 Carter Invalid Carriage, a 1923-24 Matchless Model K Car, and of course the BRM V16!
Andrew Evanson, Senior Operations Manager of headline sponsor Lancaster Insurance, said: “It was amazing to see the classic car community reunite over the past three days. The show is always a calendar highlight but was something special this year. Thank you to all involved and we can’t wait to do it again next year.”
Over 60,000 people attended the show, and the V16 car was surrounded by a crowd throughout the weekend. An enormous thank you to everyone who took the time to see the car – feel free to share any pictures on social media using the hashtag #BRMV16!
