Over the weekend the HGPCA were in action at the VSCC’s Spring Start featuring a grid of Pre-66 and Pre-61 Grand Prix cars racing on Silverstone’s National Circuit layout.
In the Pre-61 class Bruce McCabe was out in the P25-8 starting in 4th place but retired. He did however set a fastest lap of 85.88 on lap 3.
In the Pre-66 class was Philipp Buhofer in the BRM P261-2 who started in 12th and finished 5th and Kurt DelBene in the BRP F1 who started 22nd and finished 18th. Philipp set a fastest lap of 88.26 on lap 2.
In the second race for the Pre-66 class, Kurt DelBene was out again starting from 16th but sadly didn’t finish retiring on the 15th lap.
